एकादश [ēkādaśa] a. a. (-शी f.)
Eleventh. आत्मैकादशः
[Bṛi. Up. 3.9.4.] Consisting of eleven.
Lasting for eleven months.
शी The eleventh day of every fortnight of a lunar month, sacred to Viṣṇu; (when fasting is enjoined and is considered to be productive of great religious merit).
Presentations of offerings to deceased ancestors or Pitṛis on the eleventh day after decease.
-शम् The number eleven.

-उत्तमः N. N. of Śiva (the chief of the 11 Rudras).
