PUṢṬI   A daughter born to Dakṣaprajāpati of his wife Prasūti. Dharma married her. Puṣṭi had twelve sisters. Dharma married them also. Besides these thirteen daughters Dakṣa got of Prasūti another eleven daughters. They were Khyāti, Satī, Sambhūti, Smṛti, Prīti, Kṣamā, Santati, Anasūyā, Ūrjjā, Svāhādevī and Svadhā. They were married in order to Bhṛgu, Śiva, Marīci, Aṅgiras, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Atri, Vasiṣṭha, Agni and the Pitṛs. [Chapter 7, Aṁśa 1, Viṣṇu Purāṇa] .

पुष्टि n.  स्वायंभुव मन्वन्तर की कन्या, एवं धर्म की पत्नी [म.आ.६०.१३] । समय इसका पुत्र था [भा.४.१.४९-५१] । यह ब्रह्माजी के सभा में रह कर उनकी उपासना करती थी [म.स.११.१३२] । अर्जुन जब इंद्रलोक की यात्रा के लिए गया था, तब उसकी रक्षा के लिए द्रौपदी ने इसका स्मरण किया था [म.व.३८-१४९] ।
पुष्टि II. n.  ब्रह्मांड के अनुसार, व्यास की सामशिष्यपरंपरा के हिरण्यनाभ का शिष्य ।
पुष्टि III. n.  (सो. वसु.) एक राजा वायु के अनुसार, यह सुवदेव राजा का पुत्र था एवं इसकी माता का नाम मंदिरा था ।
पुष्टि IV. n.  धर्मसावर्णि मन्वन्तर के सप्तर्षियों में से एक ।
