संनह्

सं-√ नह्   P.Ā.-नह्यति, °ते, to bind or tie together, bind or fasten on, put or gird on (acc.), clothe or furnish with (instr.), [AV.] &c. &c.;
(Ā.) to put anything (acc.) on one's self. dress or arm one's self with (e.g.संनह्यध्वं चारूणि दंशनानि, ‘put ye on your beautiful armour’), ib.;
to prepare for doing anything (inf.), [Bhartṛ.] :
Pass.-नह्यते, to be fastened on &c., be harnessed, [MBh.] ; [Hariv.] :
Caus.-नाहयति, to cause to gird or bind on, cause to equip or arm one's self, [GṛŚrS.]

संनह्     

संनह् [sannah]   4 [U.]
To tie, bind, fasten.
To wear, put on, dress.
To put on (as armour), arm oneself, be accoutred; समनात्सीत्ततो सैन्यम् [Bk.15.111,112;14.] 7;16.4.
To make oneself ready, prepare oneself (for any action) (Ātm. in this sense); युद्धाय संनह्यते Mbh.; छेत्तुं वज्रमणीञ् शिरीषकुसुमप्रान्तेन संनह्यते [Bh.2.6.]
