ATIRĀTRA   He was one of the ten children born to Manu by Naḍvalā. (See MANU VAṀŚA). Kuru, Pūru, Śatadyumna, Tapasvī, Satyavān, Śuci, Agniṣṭoma, Atirātra, Sudyumna and Atimanyu were the names of the ten brilliant sons of Naḍvalā. [Viṣṇu Purāṇa, Part I, Chapter 13] .
