ATIṢAṆḌA   After his death Balabhadra Rāma went to Pātāla in the guise of Ananta. All the serpents worshipped him. Among them was a serpent named Atiṣaṇḍa. [M.B., Mausala Parva, Chapter 4, Verse 16] .
