अव्यविकन्याय

अव्य्-अविक-न्याय  m. m. (only instr.°एन) after the fashion of अवि and अविक (i.e. though अवि and अविक both mean ‘a ‘goat’, a derivation in the sense of, goat's flesh’ can be formed only from अविक [आविकम्]. not from अवि [अवेर् मांसम्]), [Pat.]

अव्यविकन्यायः [avyavikanyāyḥ]   Aftar the fashion of avi and avika (i. e. though both these words mean ' a goat', a derivation in the sense of 'goat's flesh' can be formed from avika as āvikam and not from avi (it would be avermāṁsam) Patañjali.
