इत्था

इत्था  n. ind.Ved. thus
इत्था   (often used in the ऋग्-वेद, and sometimes only to lay stress on a following word; therefore by native etymologists [[Nir.] ] considered as a particle of affirmation.) is often connected with words expressing devotion to the gods &c. in the sense of thus, truly, really
एत्थ   accord. to some also ‘here, hither’, ‘there, thither’, = Prākṛt.
धी  mfn. especially with as an adjective. Hence इत्था-धी = such, i.e. true (सत्या) or real worship. Similarly, इत्था-धी॑mfn. so devout, so pious i.e. very devout
performing such or true works ([[Sāy.] ]), [RV.] ; [AV.] ; [KaṭhUp.]

In this manner, thus; क इत्थावेद यत्र सः Kaṭh.1.2.24.
A particle of affirmation used to lay stress on a following word, indeed.
Truly, really. ˚धी a. performing such or true works.
