   A lamp composed of a wick set in clarified butter, placed before an idol upon certain occasions. If upon the occasion of one's cow or buffalo calving, then the clarified butter is made out of her milk. v लाव. With v धर the term will signify The observance or rite of setting such a lamp before the idol.
