पतित—सावित्रीक  m.  m. ‘one who is deprived of the सावित्री’, a man of the first 3 classes whose investiture ( उप-नयन q.v.) has been unduly performed or omitted, [GṛS.]; [Gaut.] ( cf. सावित्री-पतित).
