पाटलि     

पाटलिः [pāṭaliḥ]  f. f. The trumpet-flower. -Comp.
-पुत्रम्  N. N. of an ancient city, the capital of Magadha, situated near the confluence of the Śoṇa and the Ganges, and identified by some with the modern Pātṇā. It is also known by the names of पुष्पपुर, कुसुमपुर; see [Mu.2,3,] and 4.16, and [R.6.24] also; तदिदं दिव्यं नगरं मायारचितं सपौरमत एव । नाम्ना पाटलिपुत्रं क्षेत्रं लक्ष्मीसरस्वत्योः [Ks.3.78.] अस्ति भागीरथीतीरे पाटलिपुत्रं नाम नगरम् [H.]
