   To grow worse, deteriorate.
   To be corrupted or spoiled, be vitiated; तदहर्न प्रदुष्येत पूर्वेषां जन्मकारणात् [Y.3.19.]
   To sin, err, commit an offence against, be faithless or unchaste; अधर्माभिभवात् कृष्ण प्रदुष्यन्ति कुलस्त्रियः [Bg.1.41;] [Ms.9.74;] यद्यस्य विहितं भोज्यं न तत्तस्य प्रदुष्यति [Pt.4.57.] -Caus.
   (a) To spoil, corrupt, soil, taint. (b) To pollute, contaminate, defile.
   To blame, censure, find fault with.
