मूल्   (rather Nom.fr.मूल below) cl. 1. P.मूलति. (accord. to [Vop.] also Ā.°ते), to be rooted or firm, [Dhātup. xv, 22] :
Caus.मूलयति (xxxii, 63; [Vop.] also मोलयति), to plant or to grow.

मूल् [mūl]   I. 1 U. (मूलति-ते) To take or strike root, be firm, stand fast. -II. 1 U. (मूलयति-ते, मूलित)
To plant, cause to grow, rear.
To grow, sprout, germinate.
