siddhavat ad S As if effected, accomplished, finished, established; as if done, made ready, set up; as if real, subsisting, extant, actual. Ex. एका विषयाचा वाद पडल्यास इतर विषय सि0 घ्यावे लागतात. This is a valuable word; and, besides being serviceable in expressing the above significations in all their amplitude of application, it will avail to convey the sense of Assumed, supposed, taken for granted.
