   pop. स्फूर्त्त f The awakening or stirring of a matter reposited in the memory or mind; the rising into remembrance; the coming to mind. 2 S Quivering, thrilling, tremulous motion. See at length under स्फुरण, with which this word, although learned and high, is exactly of the same import.

Shabda-Sagara

   1. Throbbing, palpitating, shaking.
   2. Blooming, open- ing.
   3. Poetical genius, “प्रतिभा”.
    E. स्फुर् to shake, &c., aff. क्तिन्, and the vowel made long.
