([Dhātup. xxii, 23] ) ह्व॑रति (in, [RV.] also ह्व॑रते; and accord. to [Dhātup. xxxi, 21] also ह्वृणाति; pf.जह्वार, °वर्थ, °वरुःGr.; aor.अह्वार्षीत्, ह्वार्षीत्, ह्वार्, ह्वारिषुः, [VS.] ; [Br.] ; [Kāṭh.] ; Prec.ह्वर्यात्Gr.; fut.ह्वर्ता, ह्वरिष्यति, ib.; inf.ह्वर्तुम्, ib.),
to deviate or diverge from the right line, be crooked or curved, bend, go crookedly or wrongly or deviously, stumble, fall, down, [VS.] &c. (See above) :
Caus.ह्वारयति (aor.जिह्वरः, °रतम्; जुहुरः, जुहूर्थाः, जुहुराण॑),
to cause to go crookedly, lead wrong or astray, [RV.] ;
