अपावृत्त

(With abl.) Turned away from, averted, reversed, repelled, driven back, defeated; कथं द्रक्ष्याम्यपावृत्तां परैरिव हतां चमूम् [Rām.2.12.64.]
(Actively used) Dismissing, scorning, rejecting with contempt; प्रतिग्रहादपावृत्तः सन्तुष्टो येन केन चित् [Mb.]
त्तम् Rolling on the ground (of a horse).
Moving aside (a war manouvre); परावृत्तमपावृत्तमपद्रुतमवप्लवम् [Rām.6.4.25.]
