अवि [avi] a.  a. Ved. [अव्-इन्] Favourable, kindly or favourably disposed. अविं वृधाम शग्मियं सखायं वरुणम् [Av.5.1.] 9.
   विः A sheep; (f. also in this sense); जीनकार्मुक- वस्तावीन् [Ms.11.138,3.6,12.55.]
