दडपून is used in construction with numerous verbs of very differing signification, conveying the sense of Force, smartness, fullness, utterness; as दडपून-घालणें-भरणें-बसविणें To cram or stuff; दडपून-पळणें-धावणें-चालणें-हाकणें To run, go, or drive smartly; दडपून-जेवणें-खाणें-पिणें To eat or drink to the full; दडपून-निजणें-पडणें To lie muffled or well covered up.
