   To blow.
   To be cooled, be cool or assuaged (fig. also); वपुर्जलाद्रापवनैर्न निर्ववौ [Śi.1.65;] त्वयि दृष्ट एव तस्या निर्वाति मनो मनोभवज्वलितम् Subhāṣ.
   To blow out, be extinguished, be extinct; निर्वाणदीपे किमु तैलदानम् Subhāṣ.; निर्वाणभूयिष्ठमथास्य वीर्यं संधुक्षयन्तीव वपुर्गुणेन [Ku.3.52;] [Śi.14.85;] [Mu.3.28.] -Caus. (निर्वापयति)
