प्रतिसर्गः [pratisargḥ]   1 Secondary creation (as by the agents of one Supreme Being); संग्रहेण मया ख्यातः प्रतिसर्गस्तबानघ [Bhāg.4.8.5;] आदिसर्गस्तु यः सूत कथितो विस्तरेण च । प्रति- सर्गश्च ये येषामधिपास्तान् वदस्व नः ॥ [Kālikā P.]
Dissolution.
Continued creation out of primitive matter.
The portion of a Purāṇa which treats of the destruction and renovation of the world; सर्गश्च प्रतिसर्गश्च वंशो मन्वन्तराणि च । वंशानुचरितं चैव पुराणं पञ्चलक्षणम् ॥

2. Secondary creation, or the creation of the world by the agency of BRAHMĀ. and other divine beings regarded as the agents of one Supreme Being.
