व्य्-आपन्न  mfn.  mfn. fallen into misfortune, disordered, spoiled, corrupted, [Suśr.]

ROOTS:

   hurt, injured, destroyed, perished, [MBh.]
वि-क्रान्त   disappeared, changed by the substitution of another sound or symbol ( esp. applied to the change of विसर्ग or विसर्जनीय to its corresponding sibilants; when विसर्ग remains unchanged it is called q.v.), [RPrāt.]

   Spoilt, that which is unfit to be consumed by the Āryas; यदभोज्यमार्याणां केशकीटावपन्नमन्येन वोपघातेनोपहतं तद् व्यापन्नमिति ŚB. on [MS.6.5.48.]
