A Sanskrit phrase used as an illustration upon the occasion of two matters of which the one is superlatively simple and easy or altogether insignificant, and the other indefinitely greater, more difficult, or more important, arising at once to be done; and of which it is intended to intimate that the trifling one should be despatched first.
