खाण्डव     

खाण्डवः [khāṇḍavḥ]   Sugar-candy.
-वम्  N. N. of a forest in Kurukṣetra, sacred to Indra, and burnt by Agni with the assistance of Arjuna and Kṛiṣṇa; यत्सन्निधावहमु खाण्डवम- ग्नयेऽदाम् [Bhāg.1.15.8.] -Comp.
-प्रस्थः  N. N. of a town.-रागः a kind of sweetmeat; भक्ष्यखाण्डवरागाणां क्रियतां भुज्यतां तथा [Mb.14.89.41.]
