YAMĪ   A daughter of Sūrya. One of the wives of Sūrya was Saṁjñā, the daughter of Viśvakarmā. Three children, Manu, Yama and Yamī, were born to Sūrya by Saṁjñā. [Viṣṇu Purāṇa, Part 3, Chapter 2] .
