सम्- प्राप्   ( - प्र-√ आप्) P. - प्रा-प्नोति, to reach or attain fully to, arrive at, effect, accomplish, [ŚBr.] &c. &c.;

to get, obtain, acquire, partake of, incur, undergo, [Mn.]; [MBh.] &c.;

to obtain as a wife or in matrimony, [Kathās.] :
