अप-सद  m.  m. the children of six degrading marriages (of a Brāhman with the women of the three lower classes, of a क्षत्रिय with women of the two lower, and of a वैश्य with one of the शूद्र, [Mn. x, 10 seqq.], but cf. [MBh. xiii, 2620 seqq.] and अपध्वंस-ज), an outcast (often ifc.; See ब्राह्मणा-पसद).

An outcast, a low man; usually at the end of comp. in the sense of 'vile', 'wretched', 'accursed'; कापालिक˚ [Māl.5;] रे रे क्षत्रियापसदाः [Ve.3;] नर˚, ब्राह्मण˚ &c.
