अभ्युपपत्ति

अभ्य्-उपपत्ति  f. f. approaching in order to assist, protection, defence (ifc. [[Mn.] ; [Daś.] ] or with gen. [[MBh. i, 112] ])

Consolation.
Protection, defence; ब्राह्मणाभ्युपपत्तौ च शपथे नास्ति पातकम् [Ms.8.112,349;1.62;] आर्त˚ [Dk.39.]
