अम्भृण  mfn. mfn. (cf.अ॑म्भस्, ὄβριμος, ὄμβριμος), powerful, great [Naigh] [RV. i, great] ([[Naigh.] ]), [RV. i, 133, 5] ([‘roaring terribly’ [Sāy.] ])
अम्भृण  m. m. a vessel (used in preparing the सोम juice), [VS.] and, [ŚBr.]
अम्भृणी   N. of a ऋषि (father of वाच्), [RAnukr.] (cf.)

अम्भृण [ambhṛṇa] a.  a. Ved.
Powerful, great, mighty (महत्).
Roaring terribly.
णः A vessel or tub used in preparing the Soma juice.
The father of Vāch (वाच्).
