to become visible, strike, [MBh. v, 728] :

Caus. P. Ā. -भासयति, -ते, to illuminate, light up, [Hariv.]; [VP.]; [VarBṛS.]; [Kathās.];

to make apparent or prominent, cause to come forth, [Bhartṛ.] Comm. on [Kum. i, 2];

to render brilliant or beautiful, [Mṛcch.]; [Ragh.]
