कृश्

कृश्   cl. 4. P.कृ॑श्यति (perf.चक॑र्श; ind.p.कृशित्वा or कर्श्°, [Pāṇ. 1-2, 25] ),
to become lean or thin, become emaciated or feeble, [AV. xii, 3, 16] ; [ŚBr. xi] ;
to cause (the moon) to wane, [Dhātup. xxvi, 117] :
Caus.कर्शयति, to make thin or lean, attenuate, emaciate, keep short of food, [Āp.] ; [Bhag.] ; [Suśr.] &c.;
to lessen, diminish, [Kāvyâd. ii, 109;]
कृश्   [cf. perhaps Lat.parco, parcus.]

कृश्     

कृश् [kṛś]   4 P. (कृश्यति, कृश)
To become lean or emaciated; य एषां ज्योतिष्माँ उत यश्चकर्श [Av.12.3.16.]
To wane (as the moon). -Caus. To emaciate; कर्षयन्तः शरीरस्थं भूतग्राममचेतसः [Bg.17.6.]
