to cast out, expel, [AitBr.];

( Ā.) to surround, enclose, [BhP.] :

Caus. -वर्जयति, °ते ( ind.p. -वर्ज्य), to keep off, remove, [AV.];

to avoid, shun, quit, abandon, not heed, disregard, [Mn.]; [MBh. &c.]
