(प्र- 2√ अश्) P. प्रा-श्नाति (rarely Ā. °नीते), to eat, consume, devour, taste, enjoy, [RV.] &c. &c.: Caus. प्रा-शयति, to cause to eat, feed, [ĀśvGṛ.] ; [Mn.] ; [Kathās.] प्राश् m. 3.m. (√ प्रछ्) asking, inquiring, a questioner, [Yājñ.] Sch. (cf. शब्द-प्र्° and, [Uṇ. ii, 57] )
प्राश् f. f. (?) statement or assertion in a debate or lawsuit, [AV. ii, 27, 1; 5] (cf. प्रति-प्राश्).
