मञ्जरि     

मञ्जरिः [mañjariḥ] री [rī]   री f.
A shoot, sprout, spring; निवपेः सहकार- मञ्जरीः [Ku.4.38;] सदृशकान्तिरलक्ष्यत मञ्जरी [R.9.44;16.51;] so स्फुरतु कुचकुम्भयोरुपरि मणिमञ्जरी [Gīt.1;] मुखं मुक्तारुचो धत्ते धर्माम्भःकणमञ्जरीः [Kāv.2.71.]
A cluster of blossoms.
A flower-stalk.
A (parallel) line or row.
A pearl; cf. मञ्जरीपिञ्जरित 'bedecked with pearls'.
A creeper.
The holy basil.
The plant Tilaka.-Comp.
-चामरम्   a chowrie in the form of a sprout, fan-like sprout; व्याधूयन्ते निचुलतरुभिर्मञ्जरीचामराणि [V.4.13.] -जालम् a dense mass of buds or flowers.
