MEGHAŚARMAN   A brahmin who was a great devotee of Sūrya. When there was a drought in the country during the reign of Śantanu this brahmin by his worship of Sūrya brought rains to the country. [Bhaviṣya Purāṇa, Pratisargasaṁhitā] .
