वि-√ ध्वंस्   (or ध्वस्) Ā. -ध्वंसते ( rarely °ति), to fall to pieces, crumble into dust or powder, be scattered or dispersed or destroyed, perish, [ŚBr.] &c. &c.:

Caus. -ध्वंसयति ( ind.p. - ध्वंस्य, or -ध्वस्य), to cause to fall to pieces or crumble, dash to pieces, crush, destroy, annihilate, [MBh.]; [Kāv.] &c.;

to hurt, injure, [R.]
