VYUṢṬA   A King of the dynasty of Dhruva. This King was the son of King Puśpārṇa, by his wife Prabhā. Pradoṣa, Niśītha and others were brothers of Vyuṣṭa. A son named Sarvatejas was born to this King. [Bhāgavata, Skandha 4] .

व्युष्ट n.  (स्वा. उत्तान.) एक राजा, जो पुष्पार्ण एवं दोषा के पुत्रों में से एक था । इसकी पत्नी का नाम पुष्करिणीं था, जिससे इसे सर्वतेजस् नामक पुत्र उत्पन्न हुआ था [भा. ४.१३.१४] ।
व्युष्ट II. n.  एक वसु, जो विभावसु एवं उषा के पुत्रों में से एक था [भा. ६.६.१६] ।
