सौदायिक

सौदायिक  mfn. mfn. (fr.सु-दाय) that which is given to a woman at her marriage by her father or mother or any relative and therefore becomes her property, [Dāyabh.] ; [Hcat.]
relating to such a gift, [MW.]
सौदायिक  n. n. a nuptial gift, ib.

सौदायिक     

सौदायिक [saudāyika] a.  a. (-की f.) Whatever is given to a woman at her marriage by her parents, or a relative in general, which becomes her own property; मातृपित्रा- दिभिर्दत्तं धनं सौदायिकं स्मृतम् [Śukra.4.814.]
