AKRODHA   A King of the Pūru dynasty. He was born to King ‘Ayutanāyi’ and his Queen, Kāmā. Kāmā, mother of Akrodha, was the daughter of Pṛthuśravā. [Śloka 21, Chapter 95, Ādi Parva, M.B.] .

अक्रोध [akrōdha] a.  a. [नास्ति क्रोधो यस्य न. ब.] Free from anger.
-धः [न. त.]   Absence or suppression of anger; अक्रोधस्तपसः (विभूषणम्) [Bh.2.8;] अक्रोधेन जयेत् क्रुद्धं [Mb.5.15.18.] regarded as one of the ten duties of an ascetic.
