अन्तरा [antarā]   ind. ( fr. अन्तर)< br>   ( used adverbially) (a) In the interior, inside, within, inwardly; भवद्भिरन्तरा प्रोत्साह्य कोपितो वृषलः Mu.3 inwardly, secretly. (b) In the middle, between; त्रिशङ्कुरिवान्तरा तिष्ठ Ś.2 stay between the two or in the mid- air; मैनमन्तरा प्रतिबध्नीत Ś.6 do not interrupt him (in the middle); अक्षेत्रे बीजमुत्सृ- ष्टमन्तरैव विनश्यति [Ms.1.71] therein; पशुमण्डूकमार्जारश्वसर्पन- कुलाखुभिः । अन्तरा गमने 4.126; अन्तरा शकलीकृतः [R.15.2;] लाटी तु रीतिर्वैदर्भीपाञ्चाल्योरन्तरास्थिता [S.
