   kāku f S One of the forms of a proposition--that in which, through the interrogative or other tone of utterance, the sense intended is shown to be opposite to the sense literally expressed. Ex. मी काय समजत नाहीं परंतु मी निरुपाय होतों i. e. I do understand; तो काय मुर्ख आहें i. e. He is not a fool; हे होणार नाहीं i. e. This assuredly will be.
