वाशी

वाशी  f. f. (also written वासी; accord. to some connected with √ व्रश्च्) a sharp or pointed knife or a kind of axe, adze, chisel (esp. as the weapon of अग्नि or the मरुत्s, and the instrument of the ऋभुs, while the परशु or axe is that of त्वष्टृ), [RV.] ; [AV.] ; [MBh.]
