सत्प्रतिपक्ष  m.  (-क्षः) Contrariety of doctrine or argument, knowledge of the opposite arguments proving the existence or non-existence of a thing; viz:--sound is eternal because it is audible; on the other hand sound is non-eternal because it is a product, (in logic.)
