सीमन् [sīman]  f. f. [सि-इमनि पृषो˚ न गुणो दीर्घश्च [Tv.] ]
   A boundary &c.; see सीमा; सीमानमत्यायतयोऽत्यजन्तः [Śi.3.57;] see निःसीमन् also.
   The acrotum; सीम्नि पुष्कलको हतः Sk.; (for other senses see सीमा below). -Comp.
-लिङ्गम्   a boundary mark, land-mark; ग्रामीयककुलानां च समक्षं सीम्नि साक्षिणः । प्रष्टव्याः सीमलिङ्गानि तयोश्चैव विवादिनोः ॥ [Ms.8.254.]

   1. A boundary, a limit, a landmark, or mound, &c. serving to fix the limits of estates, &c.
   2. A field.
   3. The nape of the neck. 4. The scrotum.
   E. षिञ् to bind, इमनिन्, Unādi aff.; also with the aff. डाष्, or a final vowel, fem. form, सीमा .
