SKANDHA   A nāga (serpent) born in the family of Dhṛtarāṣṭra. This serpent was burnt to death in the sacrificial fire of the serpent sacrifice of Janamejaya. [M.B. Ādi Parva, Chapter 57, Verse 18] .
