भुवस्  n.  ind. ( orig. nom. or voc. pl. of 2. भू॑) the air, atmosphere ( one of the 3 sacred utterances or व्याहृतिs [q.v.] uttered between भूर्, earth, and स्वर् [qq. vv.], heaven; it comes 2nd of the series when 7 or 14 worlds are enumerated, [RTL. 403, 102, n. 1]), [VS.]; [Br.] &c. ( it becomes भुवर् in भुवर्- लोक, ‘the world of the air’ [VP.])< br>    one of the mind- born sons of ब्रह्मा, [Hariv. 11506]< br>    N. of the 2nd and 11th कल्प ( q.v.), [VāyuP.]< br>
