उन्-मनस्  mfn. mfn. (उद्-म°) excited or disturbed in mind, perplexed, [Pāṇ. 5-2, 80] ; [Ragh.] ; [Kathās.] ; [Vikr.]

उन्-मनस्  m. m. (with शाक्तs) one of the seven उल्लासs or mystical degrees.

उन्मनस् [unmanas] नस्क [naska]   नस्क a. [उद्भ्रान्तं मनोऽस्य]
Excited or disturbed in mind, perplexed, agitated, uneasy; उन्मनाः प्रथमजन्मचेष्टितान्यस्मरन्नपि बभूव राघवः [R.11.22;] [Ki.14.] 45.
Regretting, repining for a lost or departed friend.
Anxious, eager, impatient; गन्तुं पावकमुन्मनस्त- दभवत् [Bh.2.75.]
Proud (मनस्विन्); मुदमायातु नितान्तमुन्मनाः [Śi.16.3] (where it also means "anxious").
