उन्मनस् [unmanas] नस्क [naska]   नस्क a. [उद्भ्रान्तं मनोऽस्य]
Excited or disturbed in mind, perplexed, agitated, uneasy; उन्मनाः प्रथमजन्मचेष्टितान्यस्मरन्नपि बभूव राघवः [R.11.22;] [Ki.14.] 45.
Regretting, repining for a lost or departed friend.
Anxious, eager, impatient; गन्तुं पावकमुन्मनस्त- दभवत् [Bh.2.75.]
Proud (मनस्विन्); मुदमायातु नितान्तमुन्मनाः [Śi.16.3] (where it also means "anxious").

Shabda-Sagara

उन्मनस्  mfn.  ( -नाः-नाः-नः) Regretting, missing, sorrowing for a lost or departed friend, &c.
E. उत् up, upset, disturbed, and मनस् the mind.
