to run together, hasten together towards ( acc. or loc.), meet with ( instr.), come into collision or conflict, [RV.]; [AV.]; [ŚBr.]; [Kauś.]; [Bhaṭṭ.] :

Caus. -अर्पयति, °ते, to throw at, hurl at ( acc.), strike, hit, [AV.]; [MBh.];
