अभ्युपगम्

अभ्युपगम्     

अभ्युपगम् [abhyupagam]   1 [P.]
(a) To go to or near, approach; परलोकमभ्युपगते (भर्तरि) विविशुः [Śi.9.13.] (b) To come to the help of; वयमभ्युपगच्छामः कृष्णेन त्वां प्रघर्षितम् Hariv. (c) To have recourse to. (d) To arrive at (a point of time); आषाढीमभ्युपगतो भरतः [Rām.]
To obtain, get.
To admit, grant, own; अभ्युपगतं तावदस्माभिरेवम् Ś. we admit all this; [Mu.3.]
To assent to, agree to, undertake, promise; [Dk.73.] -Caus. To induce or cause one to assent to or grant; मामभ्युपगमय्य [Dk.6,118.]
