अवरुह्

अव-√ रुह्   P. (p.-रो॑हत्; ind.p.-रुह्य; also Ā.e.g.[MBh. ix, 3470] ; [R. ii, 7, 11 and iv, 49, 25] )
to descend, alight, dismount, [RV. v, 78, 4, &c.] ;
‘to descend from’ i.e. to be deprived of (one's dominion, ऐश्वर्यात्), [BhP.] :
Caus. (impf.अवा-रोपयत् [v.l.°रोहयत्] [Ragh. i, 54] ; Imper. 2. sg.-रोपय, [MBh. iv, 1318 and ix, 3468, 2.] pl.Ā.-रोहयध्वम्, [MBh. iii, 15609] )
to cause to descend, take down from (abl.) :
Pass.-रोप्यते, to be lowered or lessened, [MBh. xii, 8501.]

अवरुह्     

अवरुह् [avaruh]   1 [P.]
To descend, alight, go down to; कूपम् पन्थानम् &c.; come down (in general); to dismount, get down; यानासनस्थश्चैवैनमवरुह्याभिवादयेत् [Ms.2.22;] [R.4.] 8; [Bk.8.14;] so प्रासादात्, वृक्षाग्रात्; ऐश्वर्यात् अवरूढः come down from, bereft of, prosperity.
To approach; अचिरादवरोत्स्यसि [Bhāg.3.33.1.] -Caus. रोहयति or रोपयति
To cause to descend or alight; तामवारोहयत् [R.1.54;] helped her down; to bring down, or set down; तां सरस्तीरेऽवरोप्य [Dk.139;] वृक्षाद्धनूंषि, गाण्डीवम् &c.
To lower, lessen, reduce; [Ms.1.82.]
To plant (as trees).
To depose, dethrone, dismiss, remove (as from a throne &c.); मयाऽधिकाराभ्यामवरोप्य [Mu.3;] चाणक्यं साचिव्यादवरोपयेत्.
