हंस—वती  f. f. a verse containing the word हंस (applied to, [RV. iv, 40, 5] , in which the sun in the form of दधि-क्रा, here called हंस, is identified with पर-ब्रह्मन् or the Supreme Being; this verse is also found in [VS. x, 24; xii, 14 &c.] ), [ĀpŚr.]
